Job summary

Barchester Healthcare in Bonnyrigg is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents in a complex care home. You’ll help with daily living, assist with meals, and provide companionship to residents with varied needs, including dementia and neurological conditions.

You’ll work as part of a warm, supportive team, following individual care plans and promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing. We value empathy, reliability and excellent communication, and offer training and development

About The Role

As a Care Assistant at a Barchester complex care home, you'll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care they deserve. We'll look to you to support our residents with a variety of needs, including advanced or young onset dementia, multiple sclerosis, neuro rehab and Huntington's disease.

In This Role, You'll

• Support residents with daily living activities and personal care


• Help residents with food and drink throughout the day
