Job summary

Right at Home UK Barnet & Edgware is recruiting a Care Assistant to provide person-centred support to local clients in a welcoming team.

You will help with companionship, personal care, meals, medication, and wellbeing reporting. Induction training and funded QCF Health and Social Care Level 2 to 5 qualifications are available.

Driving is preferred and you may need to offer some availability every other weekend or one weekend day per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or a similar setting is preferred.
• Willingness to learn with induction training and funded QCF Health and Social Care.
• Ability to drive is preferred and helpful for visiting clients.
• Flexibility to cover some weekends or one weekend day per week.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship.
• Providing personal care e.g., washing and assisting to dress.
• Preparing meals of choice.
• Administering medication.
• Monitor wellbeing and adequately reporting concerns.
