Job summary

Meadow Bank Care Home in Preston provides residential, nursing and dementia care in a 110-bed facility in Bamber Bridge. The Care Assistant role is full-time, 33 hours per week, with DBS check, uniform and paid annual leave, and ongoing development opportunities.

The role focuses on personal care, mobility and emotional wellbeing, following care plans to ensure dignity and independence for residents. Full training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.

• Reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to contribute to safe, responsive care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm, positive environment where residents feel valued.
