Brunelcare's Somerset Community team is seeking a community care assistant in Bridgwater. You will provide personal care and support in clients' homes, including washing, dressing and meals, plus medication administration per care plans for weekends (10–16 hours a week). No prior experience is needed.

This is a community care assistant post in Brunelcare's Somerset Community team, helping people stay in their own homes. The work is personal care and support in clients' homes, including washing, dressing, food preparation and giving medication against a care plan, with records kept up to date. It is a weekends-only role of 10 to 16 hours a week, on early, late or split shifts, and no prior experience or qualifications are needed. A driving licence and your own vehicle are essential, and sponsorship is not available.

What’s offered

• £500 welcome bonus paid on completion of probation
• Double time on bank holidays and an extra £1 per hour on weekends
• Mileage: 1 hour's pay for every 20 miles travelled plus 45p per mile
