Job summary

Care Dorset Ltd in Blandford Forum is looking for a compassionate Care Assistant to support adults in our residential and community settings. You will help with personal care, daily Living tasks and keep accurate records, while upholding dignity and safety.

We offer full or part-time hours, pay £13.27–£13.50 per hour, generous annual leave, enhanced maternity pay, sick pay from day one, training and discounts, plus wellbeing support.

Full or Part Time - Pay Grade 4 £13.27 - £13.50 per hour

About The Role

Each day as a Care Assistant is different. You will assist with all aspects of personal care and support for the people we support within the setting.

• Undertake personal care duties as required to the relevant client group which will typically include toileting, washing and manual handling (including hoisting) and transfer.
• Undertake domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
• Support the relevant client group in a way that maintains dignity and privacy
• Participate in the maintenance of essential record keeping, through brief written recording on individual client records
• Comply with Health and Safety requirements in respect of manual handling and transfer hoisting and the use of protective equipment to aid infection control
• You would be expected to work within the Gold Standards Framework
