Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant for a home in the Cheltenham area. You will support residents with daily living, meals, and personal care, following care plans and ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.

You will bring empathy, good communication, and a can-do attitude. Training is provided, and you'll join a welcoming team committed to high standards of care and meaningful moments with residents.

Qualifications

• Experience of caring for older people.
• Excellent communication and compassionate approach.
• Willingness to undertake training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Support residents with meals and hydration, following individual care plans.
• Provide one-to-one attention and companionship to residents.
• Assist with mobility, dressing, and daily routines as required.
• Ensure residents’ safety, comfort and dignity at all times.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve.
