Job summary

Bupa Pebble Mill Care Home in Edgbaston, Birmingham is seeking a Care Assistant on a bank contract. You will provide person-centred care, support independence, and work within a team dedicated to high standards of care in a welcoming environment.

The role offers flexible patterns, a fully paid induction, a DBS check, and benefits. Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, with training provided to help you thrive and grow in your career.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.
