Our Meallmore team at Antonine are ready to warmly welcome you as a Care Assistant within their care home. Antonine House is a luxury private care home in Bearsden, Glasgow, providing nursing and dementia care at its best, surpassing national standards.

We offer a mentorship programme and ongoing learning opportunities to support your skill development and career progression as a Senior Care Assistant or Senior Care Practitioner.

If you're not already registered, Meallmore will assist you with the registration process with the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council).

Your role as a Meallmore Care Assistant includes:

• Promoting and providing high-quality care in accordance with individual care/support plans.
• Creating wellbeing within a caring environment and participating in home activities.
• Adhering to Meallmore Standards, Policies, Procedures, and National Care Standards.
• Working in line with the SSSC codes of Practice.
• Collaborating with care staff and wider teams.
• Carrying out personal care duties.

Desirable skills:

• Working towards the qualification required for SSSC registration.
• SVQ Level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care (per SSSC guidelines).
• Good communication and rapport-building skills.
• A kind, caring nature.
