Home Instead South Devon is seeking caring individuals to provide companionship and practical support in clients' homes across Teignbridge and South Devon, including Newton Abbot, Torquay, Torbay, Totnes, Paignton and Brixham.

The role offers flexible part-time hours, with full-time hours available, and a £200 sign-up bonus. Training is provided, and NVQ qualifications may be funded. Minimum 1-hour visits and regular client schedules enhance continuity.

We offer a £200 sign up bonus! Looking for a role that works around school hours, family life or other commitments?Subject to T&C.

We pay extra for NVQ2 and NVQ3 Qualifications, plus travel time and mileage!

Whether you’re looking for a few hours a week, morning shifts while the children are at school, evenings, or full time hours, we’ll work with you to build a schedule that suits your lifestyle.

We do ask for alternate weekend availability so we can continue providing consistent support to our clients.

What makes this role different?

At Home Instead, we do things properly.

You’ll visit regular clients at regular times, allowing you to build genuine relationships and become a familiar face to the people you support.

We carefully match carers with clients based on personalities and interests because we know good care starts with trust and connection.

Before working independently, you’ll complete shadow shifts alongside an experienced carer so you can get to know your clients, understand their routines, and feel confident and comfortable.

We also introduce you to your clients beforehand, meaning nobody feels uncomfortable with an unfamiliar person suddenly arriving at the door. It creates a much nicer experience for both you and the client from the very beginning.

And with minimum 1-hour visits, you will have time to care properly. Time to chat, listen and make someone’s day brighter.

For many of our clients, your visit will be one of the most important parts of their day. For all areas and those surrounding in Teignbridge and South Devon which includes but not limited to Newton Abbot, Torquay, Torbay, Totnes, Paignton and Brixham.

You do not need previous care experience to apply.

We provide full paid training, ongoing support, classroom-based learning and online training that can be completed from home. We can also support you with funded NVQ qualifications if you’d like to progress further in care.
