Care Assistant 19 hr/wk@ £12.84/hr Near Leyland - FTE - £25.0k - Chorley - PR7

We are currently recruiting for a female Care / Support worker to join our team of Personal Assistants supporting one of our clients in the Chorley area. The role involves supporting our client with Spina Bifida to lead an independent lifestyle at home and in the community. The client enjoys social activities and community outings.

Hours:

1. Average of 19 hours per week, on a rolling rota including day shifts and overnights, with some weekend shifts. The weekly hours vary: 14, 24, 7, and 31 hours.

You must be a driver with a full license, comfortable driving a wheelchair accessible vehicle, and willing to support with community outings, including occasional overnight stays.

• Experience with Spina Bifida (desirable)
• Supporting personal care, including catheter care
• Moving and handling experience (preferable)
• Ability to provide companionship and ensure safety in home and community settings
• Medication administration skills
