Job summary

Ferguson Lodge is a family owned care provider in the Newcastle area with over 40 years experience. We are looking for Care Assistants to work 12 hour day or night shifts (3 or 4 x 12 hours) over a 7-day rota. Based in our residential care home for the elderly in City West.

The care assistants deliver a service to provide the quality of care that we would want for our own family members. They work together as a team to ensure that the physical, social, psychological and emotional needs of our

Qualifications

• Care experience or willingness to undertake training.
• Ability to follow care plans and record information accurately.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (day or night) on a 7-day rota.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living and social care needs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Create and maintain accurate records of care.
