Abicare is seeking Community Healthcare Assistants to provide high-quality domiciliary and home care to clients in their own homes. You will help with personal care, medication support, meals, companionship, and promoting independence, with travel between visits.

We offer flexible full-time or part-time shifts, full training, and ongoing support from a friendly local team. Right to work in the UK and a positive, patient approach are essential.

Experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant, Carer, Community Carer, Domiciliary Care Worker or Support Practitioner is welcomed but not essential.

About The Role

As a Community Healthcare Assistant, you will provide high-quality domiciliary care and home care support to clients within their own homes.

Your role may include:

• Personal care


• Medication support


• Companionship


• Meal preparation


• Dementia support


• Assisting with daily living


• Promoting independence and well-being


• Travelling between clients in the community

This is a community-based role where no two days are the same.

Working Hours

Flexible shifts available:

• Full-time


• Part-time


• Morning shifts


• Evening shifts


• Weekend availability

Typical care calls may begin from around 7 am.

We will work with your availability where possible, but flexibility is essential for this role.
