Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a Care Assistant in Worthing to provide compassionate support at customers' homes, helping them live independently with dignity and safety.

No prior care experience is required; full training, support and career growth are provided within a purpose-driven team.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs to help customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that makes customers feel truly cared for.
