Job summary

Helping Hands in Ashford is seeking a Care Assistant to join the East 5 department. This flexible role offers £16.15 per hour and provides training to help you support people to live safely and independently at home in the communities we serve.

You’ll provide companionship, assist with personal care and mobility, help with meals and housework, and support with errands and medication administration following care plans.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs to keep clients safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
