Overview

Post: Care Assistant – We have 8 various permanent posts available.

Location: Tiled House, 200 Tiled House Lane, Pensnett, Brierley Hill, DY5 4LE

Salary: Grade 4 £12.85 to £13.05 per hour.

Hours of Work:

28 Hours x2; 27 Hours; 26 Hours; 23 Hours; 21 Hours x2; 19.5 Hours

Location: Tiled House Intermediate Care Service, an integrated care facility with on-site health professionals.

Hours are on a set rota including alternative weekends and bank holidays, with enhancements paid. Hours of work are between 7:30am to 9:30pm, depending on rota pattern and service needs.

Responsibilities
  • Support vulnerable adults at Tiled House to lead as independent a life as possible.
  • Support people in crisis or following hospital admission and ensure they receive the correct support to meet their needs.
  • Plan and provide person-centred care that promotes respect, dignity and personalisation.
  • Deliver high quality care to service users, including assistance with physical and personal needs and, if required, administration of medication.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and maintain accurate records. Work as a member of a team.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, compassion and a genuine desire to support vulnerable adults.
  • Effective communication skills and good recording abilities.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK. This employer does not offer sponsorship.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of vulnerable adults; successful medical clearance and enhanced DBS check required.
Training and Development
  • Relevant mandatory training provided during induction period, including online training.
