Job summary

Bupa in Uxbridge is seeking a Care Assistant to join Clare House Care Home on 176 Harefield Rd. This permanent role is 33 hours per week, with day and night shifts and alternate weekends, and involves supporting residents with personal care and companionship.

You will document care plans, support nutrition and hydration, and help residents stay engaged through activities while working within safeguarding and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.
