We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our team. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents. This includes personal care (washing, dressing, hygiene and meals) and helping with daily activities in the home.
You will deliver care that comes from the heart, ensuring residents maintain their individuality. You may support someone with limited mobility, provide comfort to a distressed resident, or offer compassionate end-of-life care, always putting wellbeing first.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should recognise the signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues must attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as appropriate. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
