Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK and be within commutable distance to Bradwell Hall Nursing Home and Woodview Care Home. Unfortunately, we cannot consider candidates that do not meet these criteria at this time.

We are delighted to offer a £500 Welcome Reward to new starters upon the successful completion of 6 months employment. Permanent employment with a minimum weekly contract of 22 hours per week.

Location: Bradwell Hall Nursing Home, Newcastle-under-Lyme

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Salary: £12.32 per hour

Hours: 33-44 hours per week (12 hours shifts) 3 to 4 shifts per week including alternate weekends, flexible availability. The company operates various shift times including but not limited to: 08:00-20:00 / 10:00-22:00

Bradwell Hall Nursing Home is a modern, purpose-built, family-run care home registered for nursing and residential care.

We are recruiting Care Assistants/Support Workers with previous experience to join our team as we have recently increased our occupancy.

Care work can be very rewarding. It involves helping residents live with dignity, assisting with daily needs such as washing, dressing, and meal times. We offer a range of shifts to suit your lifestyle.

The successful applicant will be contracted to weekly hours, with full-time day shifts available on a 7-day rota.

Please note:

  • Days, Afternoons & Evenings, Twilights or Nights
  • Enhanced pay for NVQ Level 2 or 3 or similar qualifications in Health & Social Care
  • Pay rates:
    • £11.37 per hour for 18-20 years
    • Additional 7p per hour for NVQ Level 2; flat rate of £13.07 per hour for NVQ Level 3
    • £12.32 per hour for 21 years and over

Your role and responsibilities

The role involves providing direct care to residents with dementia, under the supervision of a trained nurse, supporting their care plans.
