Care Assistant - Part-Time ( 12.64/hour)

Do you have a passion for making a difference in someone's life? We're looking for compassionate, reliable individuals to join our care team and help deliver high-quality support in a vibrant residential care home setting.

What You'll Do

You'll work closely with residents, supporting their emotional, social, physical, and psychological well-being while maintaining dignity and independence. Responsibilities include:

  • Personal care: washing, dressing, and hygiene support
  • Mobility assistance and pressure care
  • Meal support and preparation
  • Monitoring vital signs and reporting changes
  • Supporting with daily activities and social engagement
  • Night checks and security duties where applicable
  • End-of-life care and safeguarding support
  • Light cleaning and laundry duties

About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • A caring and empathetic nature
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly
  • Previous care experience (desirable, not essential)
  • Willingness to work towards NVQ Level II in Care Practice

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays is required. Night shifts may also be available.

Training & Development

You'll receive ongoing training and support to help you thrive and grow in your role. Attendance at team meetings and training sessions is a key part of the job.
