Job description

£13.50 - £15.65 per hour plus 30p mileage

We support service users in the following locations across Hertfordshire:

Work Locations: Hemel Hempstead, Borehamwood, Potters Bar, Bushey, Berkhamsted, Tring, Markyate, Stevenage, St Albans, Hertsmere

We welcome applications from drivers based in and around these areas

Pay Rate: £14.60 - £16.00 per hour plus 30p mileage.

Shifts are available across seven days a week, including evenings from 2:00 pm to 10:00/11:00 pm.

Role & Responsibilities of a Care Assistant

Our Care Professionals are dedicated individuals who support clients to live safer, supported lives in their own homes. You will follow individual care plans and assist with personal care, practical tasks, and companionship, always respecting the dignity and privacy of clients.

Your duties include assisting with personal hygiene, medication, meal preparation, household tasks, mobility support, and emotional well-being.

  • Providing companionship and preventing loneliness
  • Supporting with personal care and hygiene
  • Managing medications and health monitoring
  • Preparing meals and assisting with feeding
  • Housekeeping and domestic tasks
  • Mobility assistance and safety
  • Encouraging social inclusion and emotional support
  • Maintaining accurate care records
  • Responding to emergencies and ensuring safety
Qualifications
