Job Description

CARE ASSISTANT

Home Instead is expanding its team and looking for caring, compassionate Care Assistants to help with elderly care and support adults living at home with a range of needs throughout the local area.

We currently have full-time and part-time/evening & weekend care vacancies available with immediate starts. Morning, evening, and night shifts are available. We are seeking Care Assistants who may already have experience as Support Workers or in Domiciliary Care, or those without experience willing to train, as full training will be provided.

Being a Care Assistant requires adaptability, a personable nature, and a commitment to putting others first. Your role may include:

  • Companionship
  • Assisting with personal care
  • Supporting mobility around the home
  • Overseeing medication and providing medical support
  • Helping with housework such as cleaning and vacuuming
  • Preparing and cooking meals
  • Running errands like food shopping or collecting prescriptions

Requirements: A valid UK driving license with access to a vehicle for work purposes and the right to work in the UK.
