Care Assistant - Residential and Nursing Home (Tunbridge Wells)

Are you kind, caring, and passionate about supporting older people? We are a residential and nursing home in Tunbridge Wells, specialising in elderly and dementia care, and we're looking for a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team.

What We Offer:

  • £12.18 to £14.23 per hour (depending on NVQs)
  • Part-time 24hrs weekly or full-time hours 36hrs to 48hrs weekly - a stable and fulfilling role
  • Day shifts: 8am - 8pm | Night shifts: 8pm - 8am - enjoy work-life balance with alternate weekends off
  • Weekend and bank holiday pay enhancements

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality personal care - including assistance with washing, dressing, and toileting
  • Support mobility and daily activities - helping residents stay active and engaged
  • Offer companionship - building strong relationships and providing emotional support
  • Assist at mealtimes - ensuring residents receive proper nutrition and hydration
  • Monitor residents' well-being - reporting any concerns to senior staff
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment - following infection control and safety procedures
