Location: Ruby Lodge Care Home, Inspiration Way, Sowerby, Thirsk, North Yorkshire, YO7 1TS

Care Assistant required for our new luxury care home ‘Ruby Lodge' in Sowerby, Thirsk, North Yorkshire YO7 1TS - Part of the Country Court Family.

Hours: Days, 33 hours, working weekends on rota (Shift time 0800-2000)

ABOUT THE CARE ASSISTANT ROLE

Within the Care Assistant role, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Helping our residents with personal support and care
  2. Aiding their emotional well-being and social needs
  3. Supporting residents at mealtimes
  4. Interacting with residents on a personal level
  5. Maintaining and developing residents’ care plans to meet their needs

ABOUT YOU

Our staff are at the heart of our homes and provide vital support to our residents. We would love to hear from those who want to make a difference. Requirements include:

  • Experience working long shifts
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to engage well with residents and their families
  • Understanding of dementia
  • Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not essential
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it
