Universal Care Services is seeking a Care Assistant to support people in their own homes around Thetford, Watton and surrounding areas. The role offers £14.00 per hour, with 30p mileage, structured shifts, and full training.

No prior care experience is required; training will be provided. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential, along with the right to work in the UK. Blue Light Card discounts and NVQ funding are available.

What You'll Do

You'll help people live safely and independently at home, including:

• Personal care and everyday support
• Meal preparation and medication prompts
• Companionship and encouragement
• Supporting independence and choice

What You'll Need

• A full UK driving licence, your own car and business insurance
• Availability to work alternate weekends
• To already have the right to work in the UK
• Most importantly, a caring, reliable and positive approach

Experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA or Healthcare Assistant is welcome, but isn't essential. We also welcome people looking to start a completely new career in care.
