Job description

Company Description

We have vacancies for 5+ hour visits with our clients, in and around the Caterham area.

Job Description

Home Instead is the world’s leading provider of non-medical care, support, and companionship for our older community.

Home Instead builds relationships by individually matching one of our team of trained Care Professionals to the person they support.

We do not do short, task-led calls but visit for a minimum of 2 hours; employing local people, the vast majority of whom drive and are insured to take people out.

We schedule your visits with clients every week on the same day and time, allowing your client to know who to expect and when, and for you to have a structured diary.

We are happy to provide home help and personal care too. This tailored support focuses on our client’s emotional and social well-being, rather than just time-and-task-driven service. Home Instead Care Professionals don’t wear uniforms or branded cars and are proud to be different.

Part-time or Full-Time Care Professionals are needed in Redhill, Reigate, Oxted, Caterham, Bletchingley, and surrounding areas.

No experience is required as award-winning training is provided.

We are recruiting Care Professionals to support clients and enable them to live independently at home. If you have a passion for helping people and some free hours, this could be the perfect role for you!

Alternate weekend availability is essential for this role.

Clients also require personal care needs to be met.

In return, we offer:

  • £12.15 - £16.10 per hour.
  • Minimum visit length of 2 hours.
  • Preference for alternate weekend availability.
  • Access to suitable transportation.
  • 30p - 45p per mile after the first 7 miles of your commute.
  • Supportive and caring team environment.
  • Opportunity to work for an award-winning organization rated Outstanding by CQC.
  • City and Guilds Accredited Dementia, Parkinson's, and End of Life Training.
  • Support for professional development through the Care Certificate and QCF framework.
  • Employee Assistance Programme for well-being support.
  • Reward schemes and shopping discounts.
  • Comprehensive infection control training and PPE provided.

Qualifications

We seek Care Professionals who can truly make a difference. We value kind, considerate, loyal, trustworthy, empathetic, fun, reliable individuals who think outside the box and build strong relationships with clients to provide the best support.

Additional Information

All we ask is that you are kind, compassionate, caring, and able to show empathy and patience.

Our clients need a person-centered approach and someone who can make them smile.

If you can make someone's day a great day, we would love to hear from you.
