About You
As a Care Assistant, you will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, responsible for residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs. Your duties include assisting with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, dressing, and meals.
You will deliver care with compassion, ensuring residents maintain their dignity and individuality. Your involvement may include helping those with limited mobility, providing emotional support to distressed residents, or caring for individuals at the end of their life, always prioritizing their well-being.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. All staff must attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and can seek advice and escalate concerns as needed.
