Job summary

Riverside is seeking a Care Assistant at Willow Brook, Washington. This part-time role offers a 2-week rolling rota from 7am to 10pm, 30 hours per week, on-site in Willow Brook.

Salary £26,227.50 per annum pro rata, with Riverside's commitment to residents' wellbeing and community support. The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer-focused residential setting, knowledge of housing and Health and Safety standards, and flexibility to cover hours as needed to meet needs.

• An awareness of housing and Health and Safety legislation and regulation National Care Standards Awareness
• Flexibility to work hours to meet customer and business needs, which may include working outside of normal office hours and lone working

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to residents in need of physical personal care and carry out individual tasks with residents in line with their support plans, to maintain or improve their quality of life
• Recognise signs of distress in residents and work with the team to identify positive ways to reduce distress and give residents control over their lives wherever possible
• Work with colleagues to deliver compassionate, person-centred care and support across the shift
