Job summary

Bluebird Care Stroud and Cirencester is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team of Home Care experts. You will help customers stay comfortable at home, supporting daily living activities and ensuring dignity and independence with each visit.

We offer full induction, ongoing training, flexible shift patterns, and competitive hourly rates. A driving licence is essential as you will visit clients in their homes across Stroud and Cirencester, with pay per hour and mileage

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence is required.
• Compassionate attitude and calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans and work with teams.

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs.
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal preparation, planning and nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for

Requirements
