Job summary

Helping Hands Homecare, Inc. is seeking a Care Assistant in St Albans to provide compassionate, person-centred support in clients’ homes. Training is provided; prior care experience isn’t required.

You’ll assist with personal care, mobility, household tasks and errands, while promoting independence and safety for people living in their familiar surroundings.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required or access to own vehicle.
• Right to Work in UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care (washing, bathing, dressing, toileting).
• Assist with mobility needs to keep customers safe and independent.
• Oversee and administer medication per care plans.
• Help with household tasks like cleaning and meal prep.
• Run essential errands (food shopping, prescriptions).
• Offer calm, respectful support to make customers feel cared for.

What you’ll do
