Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in South Norfolk is seeking a motivated Support Worker to provide care for individuals with dementia in a prestigious care home. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care and a genuine desire to help others. Overview

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in the Eye, Diss area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers. This service provides support for people with dementia and requires all types of care from nursing care, to residential and respite care.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent

Responsibilities
  • Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
  • Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship
  • Encourage independence, well-being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities
  • Ensure accurate record keeping at all times

  • Have a genuine desire to care for others

Salary and shifts

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £12.60 per hour and the annual salary is £23,587.20 per annum. We currently have permanent vacancies for both days and night shifts available.
