At GoodOaks Sussex South we do things differently. You tell us when you can work - and we guarantee to pay you for it.
We are looking for Care Professionals in Worthing, Shoreham and Southwick. Mornings 7am-2pm or evenings 2pm-9pm, whichever suits your week. £14-£17 an hour, mileage paid between visits, full training given.
Guaranteed pay, not guaranteed shifts
Most care work asks you to be available and then pays you only for what turns up. We do it the other way round.
Tell us the hours you can be available. We guarantee to pay you 40% of them - whether the work comes in or not.
Offer us 10 hours and 4 of those are paid, guaranteed. Get booked for more and you are paid for more. No chasing shifts. No empty weeks.
Between 10 and 30 hours a week, worked around your life rather than the other way round. We offer zero-hours contracts with a Flexiday option that guarantees your pay based on the availability you give us, and guaranteed-hours contracts are available subject to availability.
You will support clients to stay in the homes they love - safe, happy and as independent as they can be. That means personal care, medication, meals, mobility support, companionship and light household tasks, alongside keeping an eye on how someone is doing and writing up your care notes.
People like being around you. You are kind, compassionate, reliable and person‑centred, with a natural warmth and an honest streak. You communicate well, you are organised, and you turn up when you say you will. Previous care experience is welcome but genuinely not essential - we train you properly.
Our mission is to help people keep their independence and wellbeing at home. We offer live‑in and visiting care, and we specialise in dementia care, physical and mental disability care, and after‑stroke care. Our care professionals complete a bespoke training course, are Dignity in Care registered, and our service is regulated by the CQC.
Come and do a job you can be proud of.
