A leading care provider is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support a young gentleman with Autism, ADHD, and other developmental delays. The role involves providing personal care and ensuring safety in both home and community settings. Ideal candidates should possess experience in complex care and a strong emotional resilience. Shifts are available on Fridays and Saturdays.

Job Description

What you'll do

The client is a young gentleman in his teens who has Autism, ADHD, Global Development Delay & PICA.

We are looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable and has a strong emotional resilience to join our existing team where no two days are the same.

Your day-to-day would include providing personal care, infection control and constant supervision to ensure a safe environment at all times at home and in the community.

Qualifications

What you'll need

Experience in complex care is essential for this position, inclusive of the following:

• Knowledge of Autism or ADHD
• The ability to read social cues of non-verbal clients.
• The ability to interpret body language or to use visual aids such as PECS.
• Consistency, emotional resilience & the ability to build trust.
