Thornfield Care Home in Seaton, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a kind and dedicated Care Assistant to support residents with daily living while upholding dignity and independence.

We offer both full- and part-time hours with alternate weekends, various shifts, and comprehensive training. DBS is paid, uniforms are provided, and staff leave accrues with a supportive team environment.

Formación

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.

• A reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsabilidades

• As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday.
• You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued.
• By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.
• Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for.
• This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
• The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
• The shift patterns are: 0730-2015; 0730-1400; 1400-2015 and 2000-0800.

Thornfield Care Home is situated on the outskirts of the lovely seaside town of Seaton which is located on the world-famous Jurassic Coast. Thornfield Care Home is registered for 52 residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.00 per hour
• Full & Part time hours available
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.
