Overview

Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England (ST2). We are HC-One, a care provider focused on Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. We offer the chance to help residents live with dignity and purpose by delivering care with kindness and respect.

Role

Care Assistant who will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents. This includes personal care (washing, dressing, hygiene, meals) and helping with daily activities in the home. You will deliver care with compassion, ensuring residents retain their individuality, and support those with limited mobility or distress, including compassionate end-of-life care.

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You will recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training. You should be able to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, escalating if necessary.

Role Details

This is a full-time position of 38.5 hours per week, nights, with a 3 on 3 off shift pattern.
