A care provider is seeking a Care Assistant in Sandford Hill to support residents' emotional and physical needs. This role involves personal care and helping with daily activities, ensuring compassionate assistance for individuals, including those with limited mobility. Care Assistant who will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents. This includes personal care (washing, dressing, hygiene, meals) and helping with daily activities in the home. You will deliver care with compassion, ensuring residents retain their individuality, and support those with limited mobility or distress, including compassionate end-of-life care.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You will recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training. You should be able to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, escalating if necessary.
This is a full-time position of 38.5 hours per week, nights, with a 3 on 3 off shift pattern.
