Role: Care Assistant – Bank

The role of a Care Assistant involves supporting residents with dignity, respect, and engagement, ensuring their individual needs are met through meaningful activities and support.

Main Duties:

1. Enable residents to remain as independent as possible, providing support such as personal care (washing, dressing, oral care).
2. Be understanding and patient, encouraging participation in leisure activities and supporting outside appointments and outings.
3. Maintain the home by making beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
4. Assist with serving meals and drinks, presenting food attractively, and supporting residents during mealtimes.
5. Comply with statutory and legal requirements, including Health & Safety, COSHH, Care Standards Act, and Infection Prevention and Control policies.
