We are currently recruiting on behalf of an exceptional, luxury care residence set within four acres of beautifully maintained landscaped gardens, overlooking the stunning Tyne Valley. This is a full-time permanent position working 36 hours per week, with shifts of 8:00am–8:00pm or 8:00pm–8:00am. Shift patterns will be discussed at interview.

The Role

As a Care Assistant, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care within a luxury living environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering personalised, compassionate care tailored to individual needs
• Supporting residents with personal care, mobility, dressing, bathing, and toileting
• Assisting with meals, hydration, and nutritional support
• Promoting dignity, independence, privacy, and choice at all times
• Building warm, respectful relationships with residents and their families
• Supporting engagement in daily activities and wellbeing programmes
• Maintaining accurate and timely care records
• Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated and caring team

About You

• Previous experience as a Care Assistant or within a care setting is preferred
• A naturally caring, compassionate, and respectful approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, professional, and flexible
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Passionate about delivering exceptional standards of elderly care
• NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential
