Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle Limited is seeking a Care Assistant in Reigate to provide compassionate support in a luxury care and nursing home. Your days will be varied, from general care to specialist dementia care, helping with washing, dressing, eating and mobility, and building meaningful activities with residents and their families.

You'll contribute to Care Plans with respect for independence, learning, and development, and join a team that values kindness, reliability and person-centered

Qualifications

• No experience required; good written and verbal communication.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is a big advantage.
• Caring, patient and respectful approach.

Responsibilities

You’ll be part of a caring, supportive team with exciting career development opportunities, and flexible full and part-time hours, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Care Assistant at our luxury care and nursing home in Reigate.

What you will do

We’ll need you to bring your compassion and uniqueness to this role. Your days as a Care Assistant will be varied, interesting and rewarding, from general care right through to specialist dementia care. You’ll assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and getting around. You’ll help them make their apartments feel like home. You’ll enjoy their favourite activities with them, like bingo, shopping and live music. You’ll develop strong relationships with the individuals you work with, and their families.

You’ll be respectful of residents’ choices, dignity and independence, always. You’ll also be integral to developing residents Care Plans, which includes being aware of any specialist support needs.

• Day Shift Times: 07.00-19.30
• Night Shift Times: 19.15- 07.15
• Full time Day/Night shifts available
