Senior Healthcare Assistant Fast-track programme

Are you ambitious and interested in caring for vulnerable adults? Would you like to earn up to £13.50 per hour within 12 to 18 months and gain valuable clinical skills? Our fast-track Care Assistant programme offers comprehensive training.

  • Start as a Care Assistant, learn essential skills in the first three months, and earn a Care Skills Certificate recognized nationwide.
  • Learn to care for patients with tracheostomies. Upon completion and competency, your hourly rate will increase.
  • Finally, learn to care for ventilated patients. After training and competency, your hourly rate may increase to £12.50 or more, with annual reviews.

Please note, this position does not sponsor visas.

Typical duties include:
  • Meeting residents' personal care needs professionally and compassionately, adhering to the home's core values and the Skills for Care Code of Conduct.
  • Completing documentation accurately and promptly, and escalating concerns to nursing staff.
  • Performing additional tasks as instructed by the nurse in charge.

The Fairlie Healthcare Group, established in 1999, specializes in caring for adults with neurological conditions, tracheostomies, and ventilator support.
