Job summary

All Care Services in Portsmouth is seeking a caring and reliable Care Assistant to support older adults in their own homes across Portsmouth, Fareham and Gosport. You will help with personal care, meal preparation and light housekeeping while promoting independence and dignity.

No prior care experience is required as full training and induction are provided. A valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle is essential; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Travel requirements: Drivers with a Full UK licence, own vehicle and business insurance.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not offered.
• Ability to work AM/PM shifts and alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Personal care for older adults.
• Meal preparation and basic cooking.
• Light household tasks and food shopping.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.

Job description

Location:

Across Portsmouth, Fareham and Gosport.

Salary:

£13.53 per hour. Additional benefits include enhanced pay for unsociable hours and double-time compensation for work carried out on public holidays.
