Job summary

Kingfisher House Care Home in Perth is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. You will support residents with daily living, personal care and mobility, while upholding dignity and wellbeing in a warm, supportive environment.

This role welcomes both experienced carers and newcomers, with full training and ongoing development provided. We offer days and nights shifts, a PVG pension, uniform, and generous annual leave for full-time contracts.

• Experience in residential care or similar roles is preferred.

Kingfisher House Care Home is a purpose built 77 bed care home located in Perth, set in a stunning riverside location on the banks of the River Tay. Providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care, the home offers a modern and well supported environment where team members can develop their skills, work as part of a strong team and make a meaningful difference every day.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Full time and part time contracts available, up to 38.5 hours per week
• Dayshift and Nightshift available
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
