Job summary

Bluebird Care Nottingham is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our care expert team. You will support clients in their own homes, delivering compassionate daily living assistance and building trustful relationships.

We offer generous hourly rates (£13.30–£27.60), paid travel time, full induction and ongoing expert training, and flexible shift patterns to suit your life. DBS checks and references are conducted in line with regulations.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
• Kind, compassionate attitude with a calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans; previous care experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prep, preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning.
• Be a dependable friendly face for all the customers you care for.
