Job summary

Home Instead Norwich is seeking a caring Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes across Norwich. You'll assist with personal care and daily routines, and provide companionship.

No prior care experience is required. You should be kind, reliable and good with people, and be willing to undergo a DBS check.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are preferred, as some clients may need support getting to appointments or the community.

Qualifications

Job description

As a Care Assistant, you'll be matched with clients and have the opportunity to get to know the people you support.Your role could include helping with personal care and daily routines, preparing meals, supporting with medication and helping clients safely get around their home.Just as importantly, you'll provide companionship. That could mean enjoying a cup of tea and a chat, going out into the community, attending appointments, or simply being there when someone needs company.You'll also keep accurate care records and let us know if you notice any changes in a client's physical or emotional wellbeing.
