As a Care Assistant working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. Your duties include assisting with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, dressing, and meal assistance.
You will deliver compassionate care that preserves residents’ dignity and individuality. This includes helping those with limited mobility, providing emotional support to distressed or confused residents, and caring for individuals at the end of their lives, always prioritizing their well-being.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and are encouraged to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
