A caring agency in Newport is seeking Temporary Agency Workers to provide essential support in residential settings. As a Care Worker, you will assist clients with daily activities, operate equipment, and work in a person-centred manner. Are you passionate about supporting people? Do you have the skills and compassion to make a real difference in their lives? We are looking for Temporary Agency Workers to join our team in Newport and the surrounding areas, providing essential support in residential settings

Pay: £13.85-£14.65 p/h

Shifts: Days and nights

As a Care worker you will:

Operate equipment, such as hoists, to assist with the moving and handling of the clients.
Provide assistance with daily activities such as personal care, light domestic duties and meal times.
Offer companionship and be a friendly face to the service users
Communicate with families and other health care professionals effectively.
Work in a person centred way, ensuring the needs of the client are at the core of the service you provide.
Ensure records are kept up to date and accurate.

Requirements:

6 months UK care experience.
An enhanced DBS or willingness to undertake one.
A caring personality and a strong desire to support others.
A practical manual handling certificate
