Job summary

Marine View Lodge Care Home is seeking a Care Assistant to provide high quality, person-centred care in a modern 80-bed setting in New Brighton. The role involves helping residents with daily living, following care plans and working within a supportive team to maintain dignity and wellbeing.

We offer training and progression, paid DBS pension, uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks of annual leave for full-time staff. Alternate weekend shifts are required. Experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to ensure safe, responsive care.

Marine View Lodge Care Home is a modern, purpose built 80 bed care home in New Brighton, Merseyside, delivering high quality residential, nursing, dementia and respite care within a warm, supportive and person centred environment.

Care Assistant Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 36-48 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.
You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
