Independent Community Care Management Limited is seeking a caring Complex Care Assistant to support a 20-year-old client in a 2:1 home care setting in Northampton.

The role involves personal care, PEG feeding and medication administration, seizure monitoring, and moving and handling. Candidates should be empathetic, energetic, and able to engage in activities with the client throughout varied shifts.

Qualifications

• No complex care experience required; full training and ongoing clinical support provided.
• Experience with PEG feeding and moving & handling equipment is advantageous.
• Be a non-smoker, comfortable working in a home with a pet dog, and available for both weekday and weekend day shifts.

Job Description

What you’ll do

We are seeking a caring and dedicated Complex Care Assistant to support our 20-year-old client as part of a 2:1 care package in her family home.

Our client is a young woman living with drug-resistant epilepsy due to cortical dysplasia, experiencing multiple types of seizures. Your role will be varied and rewarding, which will involve:

• Personal care
• PEG feeding and medication administration
• Seizure monitoring and management
• Moving and handling
• Engaging in sensory play, arts and crafts, story time, and outings

We’re looking for someone who brings energy, empathy, and enthusiasm to every shift. If you’re someone who values building meaningful relationships, enjoys creative play and engaging activities, and can deliver attentive, high-quality care - we’d love to hear from you.
