Care and Support - La Fontana Care Home

Contract: Full Time Salary: £12.21 Per Hour Shift Type: Days & Nights Available

We are looking for caring, reliable and compassionate people to join our friendly team as Care Assistants. Whether you have years of experience in care or are completely new to the sector, if you have the right values, we will provide all the training and support you need to thrive in your role.

As a Care Assistant, you will be a valued part of our close-knit team, supporting residents with their daily routines, promoting independence wherever possible, and ensuring their comfort, safety and happiness are always at the heart of what you do. Every day will bring variety, but every day you will make a genuine difference to someone’s life.

What you will do

In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care that supports the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of our residents. You will assist with personal care and daily living activities, encourage independence wherever possible, and help residents to take part in social and recreational activities that enrich their lives. Building meaningful relationships will be a key part of your day, ensuring each resident feels respected, valued, and cared for. You will also work closely with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals to maintain the highest standards of care in line with our values and policies.

About you

You might already be working in care, or you might be seeking a new career where you can take pride in making a difference every day. Experience is not essential — we provide full training for those new to care — but a caring nature, patience, and a genuine interest in the wellbeing of older people are essential. If you hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, that is an advantage but not required.
