Care Assistant

Pay rate: £13.73 up to £19.11 per hour.

We are offering an exciting opportunity to support a client in their own home with a brain injury. The client enjoys days out and walks with the family dog.

This position requires someone who holds a valid UK driving license and has access to your own vehicle.

Requirements to be a Care Assistant:

• Be over the age of 18
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Be a UK resident (we are unable to offer sponsorship)
• Have a valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
• Have at least 6 months prior experience in a healthcare setting
• Have excellent communication skills and basic sector knowledge
• Ability to build rapport with service users with varying needs and abilities
• Genuine passion for working in healthcare

Job Responsibilities:

Assisting with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, medication management, promoting independence, and accompanying clients to appointments using their own vehicle. Also, fostering a sense of well-being among service users.
