Job summary

Helping Hands Homecare is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes across East 3 area, with flexible shifts. You don’t need prior care experience as full training is provided and you’ll join a warm, supportive team.

In this role you’ll help with personal care, mobility, domestic tasks and companionship, while ensuring safety and dignity. A driving licence and right to work in the UK are preferred, with mileage paid and pension included.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm companionship to customers in their homes.
• Support with personal care, bathing and dressing.

• Help with household tasks such as cleaning and cooking.
• Run errands including shopping and prescription pickups.
• Offer calm, respectful support that promotes wellbeing.

What you’ll do

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs, helping customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
