Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience as a Domiciliary care worker, Care worker, or Health care assistant preferred.
• Genuine desire to help and relate to people.
• Patience, sensitivity, and sense of humour.
• Ability to speak and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, feeding, and medication administration.
• Assist with shopping and daily tasks.
• Support catheter care and continence aids.
• Help with nebulisers, inhalers, and oxygen.
• Assist with walking and transferring using a hoist.

Role: Care Assistant

Location: Rainham RM13

Hours: Part-time

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

For many people the question about domiciliary care does not arise until there is an urgent need. Finding that we or a loved one suddenly needs a care assistant can catch us by surprise. You may think that we have to make a stark choice between living self-sufficiently, without care, or going into a residential home.

What would we like from you?


Excellent communication skills
Could have previous experience as Domiciliary care worker, Care worker/Support worker/Health care assistant
Genuine desire to help and ability to relate to people
Have patience, sensitivity, and sense of humour
Must be able to speak and write in English
